
Tianjiao Yin is an interdisciplinary educator with a dual background in statistics and language education, dedicated to integrating data analysis with teaching practice to promote cross-cultural and innovative learning. She currently resides in New Taipei City. She earned dual master’s degrees in Education Statistics and English Education from the University of Pennsylvania in the United States and is now pursuing her Ph.D. in the Graduate Institute of Educational Information and Measurement at National Taichung University of Education. Born and raised in Beijing, Ms. Yin moved to Taiwan after marriage and chose to continue her academic and professional career there. She firmly believes that the value of education transcends borders and politics, and she hopes to contribute her international experience and passion to the educational field by helping students cultivate critical thinking, global perspectives, and interdisciplinary learning skills in a multicultural environment.
Throughout her teaching and research journey, Ms. Yin has developed a strong passion for statistics, data mining, and data visualization, supported by extensive hands-on experience. She has taught AP Statistics entirely in English, designed and delivered SAT Math courses, and instructed the international elementary mathematics program My Math. She has also participated in projects on educational big data analysis, assessment design, and data-driven international education product development. In addition to her quantitative expertise, she has extensive experience teaching English across ages and cultures, with students ranging from young children to senior learners and coming from Asia, America, Europe, and Africa. Her class formats have varied from one-on-one tutorials to groups of 25–30 students. Her areas of English instruction include phonics, civic education, content-based English for elementary students, academic reading and writing, public speaking, grammar, and practical everyday English learning.
In the field of research, Ms. Yin is actively engaged in educational artificial intelligence applications and psychometric research, with a particular focus on developing intelligent tutoring chatbots. She leverages data and technology to assess and support students’ personalized learning processes. Over the years, she has continuously reflected on a core question: “What kind of learning truly fosters student engagement and deeper understanding?” Through her extensive research and teaching experiences, she has come to recognize that learning through practice is the natural extension of her educational philosophy and professional background, and she has accumulated rich practical experience in course design and instruction.

Teachers
Ms. Stephanie Chen is the art and design course instructor at 5IN. Ms. Chen received her M.P.S degree in interactive telecommunications from New York University and Bachelor of Design degree with the focus of communication design from Carnegie Mellon University. She believes that engaging in art has given her the chance to reflect and connect her identity into her artworks. And through design, design understanding and practices has helped her better understand people and society, noticing the overlooked mundane in ordinary and seeing things from various perspectives.
In education, she has guided middle school students with 3D scanning, 3D printing, screen printing, and using design softwares such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Through engaging in art and design, she strives to inspire students to explore how iterative processes of creation can create impact and meaning, to not only hone the skills as a visual communicator, but also allow students to discover new ways to converse with different audiences.
Ms. Chen speaks fluent English, Mandarin Chinese, and conversational Japanese. She also practiced Chinese calligraphy for many years focusing on regular script (kaishu) and semi-cursive script (xinkai).
Falcon Huang will serve as the primary performance instructor for students at 5IN. He is an expert in various professional performance styles, including magic, balloon art, ventriloquism, bubbles, face-changing, taiko drumming, sand art, and dragon and lion dance. He is a program designer and performing artist who uses creativity to captivate audiences and provide all-in-one entertainment. With over 13 years of experience in performance and teaching, he handles everything from small-scale parent-child interactions to international tours, and from graphic design to stage magic. He has planned over 3,000 government, corporate, school, and extracurricular activities.
Falcon is also proficient in using computer graphics, laser engraving, and 3D printing for creative teaching and visual production. He holds two patents, a street performer license, and has teaching experience both domestically and internationally.
Falcon has two lovely daughters and a bichon frise. In his personal life, he enjoys watching TV series, gardening, and riding a hoverboard. He is also skilled in chiropractic care and creating figurines. His dream is to perform in every corner of the world and bring genuine smiles to audiences.
